陳偉殷賽後接受訪問時表示，「整體感覺都還不錯，只是可能第5局上去遇到一些亂流，整體感覺很不錯，只可惜第5局的時候沒辦法去順利度過」。對於第5局的狀況，陳偉殷說只能說可能是太久沒有正式比賽，體能狀況多多少少會有一些影響，只能自己要趕快把感覺抓回來，今天一開始的感覺其實就很棒。
陳偉殷7月20日對費城人隊先發之後，因左手肘扭傷進入傷兵名單，時隔兩個月，殷仔今天傷癒復出，前4局只被擊出1支安打，表現出色；5局上1出局之後，殷仔被國民隊Ryan Zimmerman、Chris Heisey連續安打，接著一個紅中直球被Danny Espinosa轟出3分彈（本季第22轟），陳偉殷也因而退場，由Nick Wittgren接替投球。
